Shell Oil Products US (which is more commonly known as Shell) has a new kind of promotion which would make you, and your pocket, flash a really happy smile.

The promotion is known as “Earn 25 Cents Per Gallon” and it is all about that. To be able to take advantage of the promotion, you should have a new account for a Shell Gasoline Card. The account should be opened from April 1st up until June 30th only. Within this period, if you open a new account with them for a Shell Gasoline Card, you would be able to take advantage of the promotion.

For the first hundred gallons of gasoline you purchase from Shell, you would be getting a rebate of 25 cents per gallon of gasoline. Of course, you should use your new Shell Gas Card in purchasing the fuel for your vehicle. Starting from the day that you opened your Shell Gas Card account, you should count 90 days. During that period, you should be able to complete purchasing a hundred gallons of Shell fuel. Once you have been able to complete buying a hundred gallons in 90 days since opening your gas card account, you would automatically be given a gift card from Shell amounting to $25. The gift card would be sent to your mailing address and you would be able to use that for Shell products, food, and drinks.

Caroline Yapp is manager for Shell’s US card and payments department. On their new promotion, she declared, “The 'Earn 25 Cents per Gallon' promotion is a great way to create loyal customers who recognize that not all gasolines are the same and want to ensure they're getting a great value for high-quality gasoline. Our new promotion is designed to help people get in the habit of stopping at one of the 14,000-plus Shell-branded stations across the US for their fuel.”

According to Shell, you can apply for your very own Shell Gasoline Card through their various retailers all around the country. Or you can also apply online at http://www.shellcreditcard.com. You can also call the company and apply for this card at (888) 98-SHELL (987-4355). This, indeed, is a really good way to take full advantage of each cent you earn.

Looking for a job is not easy. One would have to be smart and witty to be able to impress interviewers.

According to a latest count, there are over 100,000 positions available in the various car and truck dealerships all around the country. And dealerships would not be able to function well if there are no employees around. With the Automotive Careers Online which can be accessed through http://www.automotivecareersonline.com/, a person looking for a job in the auto industry could easily find a job. Automotive Careers Online is actually an interactive job board online which has been launched by the National Automobile Dealers Association. One would find that this site is very much similar to other job boards like Careerbuilder.com. However, Automotive Careers Online’s difference is that only positions in dealerships are posted here.

Annette Sykora, head of NADA, declared, “With a focus exclusively on careers available at new car and truck dealerships, the Web site offers both job seekers and dealers an easy way to connect online.”

The whole process of using Automotive Careers Online is easy. Once you have posted the job openings available, you can still access your post and update it if you want to. Those who do put in job posts would also be given access to a resume database which is easy to use because you can just search for the criteria you are looking for and be given the resume of those who are qualified. Alerts would also be sent to your dealership’s e-mail when a qualified candidate for the job you have posted uploads his/her resume.

On the other hand, for a person looking for a career in a car dealership, he/she can also access Automotive Careers Online. They can post and upload resumes on the site itself. Whenever there is a dealership that posts a new job opening that matches the qualifications of the job seeker, an e-mail notification would then be sent to him/her to inform him of the position.

A refilling station of E85 fuel opened in Texas and this is the very first E85 station that is wholly owned by a dealership.

This dealership is the Classic Chevrolet/Hummer and this dealership has invested over $500,000 to make sure that this biofuel refilling station goes to work. Of course it is important to note that this dealership has been one of the most successful dealerships in the nation and knows just how important it is to invest money right. According to statistics, this dealership has been able to sell the highest number of trucks under the Chevrolet brand last year.

As per the new biofuel pump, the Classic Chevrolet/Hummer pump, known as the Classic Clean Fuels station, would be able to fill up the fuel tanks of cars which can run on E85, biodiesel, and E10. Biodiesel is made from vegetable oils or even from animal fats. E85 is a combination of 85 per cent ethanol and 15 per cent conventional gasoline. E10 is a mixture of 10 per cent ethanol and the rest is made up of conventional gasoline.

Charles Martin is the general manager for the Classic Chevrolet/Hummer dealership and on the new refueling station, he commented, “We sell a lot of trucks capable of running on alternative fuels like E85, and even though there has been some increased availability, we saw a need for more E85 pumps where drivers could fill up. This was the right thing for us to do for our customers, and it's good for the Metroplex.”

As part of the grand opening of the Classic Clean Fuels station, car maker General Motors took part in the opening. The company had sponsored a promotion that lasted for two hours - it started from 7 o’clock in the morning and ended at 9 o’clock. During this period, consumers who would be purchasing E85 fuel from the pump would be given a discount. The regular price of E85 is $2.74 for each gallon. However, during the promotion period of two hours, each gallon could be bought for only 85.9 cents.
